Phil Kessel’s Basement Is Awesome And Lonely

The interwebs have been a buzz about Phil Kessel’s house listing going live, weeks after his trade to the Arizona Coyotes. Just outside of Pittsburgh, where Kessel won two Stanley Cups with the Penguins and probably crushed a million hot dogs, you can own his former abode for a mere $2.1M.

It is quite the house, complete with amazing bedrooms, a kitchen to die for, slightly creepy oversized bear sitting in an empty room, that ping pong table… and the basement theatre… for one.

Peak Kessel.

Known as a bit of a shut in around the league, it comes as no surprise that “The Thrill” would have built a home theatre room with only one seat. The Mariah Carrey “Glitter” movie poster hanging on the wall comes as a bigger surprise.

The house is dope, and I’d spend way too much time watching flicks all alone in that room any chance I got too.
